These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of HiHippo, including the website at hihippo.ai and related texting features. By creating an account or using HiHippo, you agree to these Terms.
The service
HiHippo is a personal productivity tool for capturing tasks, reminders, and related messages. Features may change during beta. Some capabilities (including messaging capacity and calendar sync) may be limited or rolled out gradually.
Your account
You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your phone number and connected services secure. Provide accurate information and use HiHippo only for lawful purposes.
Your content
You retain ownership of the tasks and messages you create. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that content as needed to provide the service, including through AI and messaging providers we use to operate HiHippo.
Connected services
If you connect iMessage/SMS or Google Calendar, you authorize HiHippo to use those connections as described in the product and our Privacy Policy. You can disconnect them in Settings. Third-party services remain subject to their own terms.
Acceptable use
Do not abuse the service, attempt to bypass rate limits or security controls, interfere with other users, or use HiHippo to send spam or unlawful content. We may suspend or terminate access for misuse or to protect the service.
Disclaimer
HiHippo is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that reminders and messages will always be delivered on time. During beta, expect occasional downtime and incomplete features.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HiHippo and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, missed reminders, or failed message delivery. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the service in the prior three months or (b) zero if the service is free.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page.
